Sacred Heart College, Chalakudy was started in 21 August 1980 by the Alvernia Province of Franciscan Clarist Congregation. The college is affiliated to the University of Calicut and is aided by the Government of Kerala. In 1991, the college was upgraded to a first grade college by the Government of Kerala. In 2004 the college gets NAAC accreditation. The College became a Partner Institution of IGNOU. |
